Against Waltham Forest on the 3rd of January,

"Capershotts", Waltham Abbey, is the place to be,

When all under 16's will be admitted absolutely FREE.

And, to vanquish the blues of the credit crunch,

They will also be given a "Crunchie" to munch! "

 

Maybe Town should do something novel like this? Tell you what Squadron Leader I'll underwrite the cost of the chocolate if the board will underwrite the entry cost for the U16's at the waltham Abbey game?

I've been banging my head against the door with similar suggestions such as having one or two youth days a season, with loads of publicity.

 

It's an area we need to work on as a club.

the offer has been declined by the board although they have reserved the right to come back at a later point in the season!

I dont think the Wabbey game is the ideal one for a youth day, firstly cos its only 3-4 days before the match and secondly we'll get a bigger than average gate in any case.

 

But v's Ilford or Tilbury later in the season would be better and could substantially increase the gate as well.
