A Slough Song To Hallelujah?

Who can come up with the best effort?

Sweetman was the current boss

Picked the team to stop a loss

Three attackers who all can score 'em

We work the ball from near to wide

The cross comes in from the side

And is headed in by Danny Jordan

Danny Jordan, Danny Jordan

Danny Jordan, Danny Jordan

Surely you can do better than that!

Slough town a once great team

never to be revisted it would seem.

lost their ground in indecent haste

by squabbling owners,what a waste.

though yester-year is frowned on by some

and mediocrity has come and come.

we can but hope for changes next year through

and get a manager with at least a clue!

Then we can all sing Hallelujah !!!!!!!!

To derek Sweetman and his team (sorry its the best i can do)

Derrek sweetman, hes a gent,

to rebels he seemed like heaven sent

he made a team for all of us to be proud.

Daly ,Evans,Durrant and Fenton

who have i forgot to mention

oh yes the man of steel, its Dean Harper

Hallelujah Hallelujah

Hallelujah Hallelujah

Midfield now dont be down,

together we have Lawrence Brown

pritch,fermie and jagdeep'sonny'Makh

Rebels strikers who is that ?

For one we have Mr matthew Platt

Jordan,Gumbs and even a Romeo

Hallelujah Hallelujah

Hallelujah Hallelujah

My favourite one in all the club

is fast and furious Byron Bubb

he leaves defenders stranded by the wayside.

To critics who say we are down and out

who will never give us much of a shout

to them i have just one thing to say.

Derek Sweetman, Derek sweetman

Derek Sweetman, Derek sweetman

Hallelujah Hallelujah

Hallelujah Hallelujah

We were good ten years ago,

We had some highs but far more lows,

Weve lost our crowds and our own ground too,

Weve had some wins and some losses,

Weve also had some shitty bosses,

And even got done 9-0 by A F C.

Im

Optimistic.. Optimistic.. Optimistic..Opti misssss tic.

But i remember the Walsall win,

The Bryco cup goals going in,

And one day we'll be back there again,

With Danny Jordan and Matty Platt,

Thank god we've lost that Charles twat,

And Yash as well we'll be scoring all the time.

Forward Line, Forward Line, Forward Line Forward l-iiii-ne

With Jacko playing the best weve seen,

Because hes full of nicotine,

And Pritch and Fermy holding the midfield,

Harps and Fents defend all day,

Weve got a decent Allaway,

And little Sunny going down the wing.

We might win one. X4

So as we look towards next year,

I think I'll shed a happy tear.

Its getting better every single day,

Matty Platt won't whinge so hard,

Harps wont get a single card,

And we wont conceed with two left on the clock.

Hallelujah X4

In the style of Brucie - well I think they are all very good.

But given that we have struggled to master the very complicated:

"Yash a haaaa, scorer of the Rebels' goals"

I'm not convinced we will be able to get this one off by heart come Saturday. It would be quite funny to give it a go though.

Merry Christmas everyone.

Cheating spectacularly, adding an extra a for scanning purposes and adapting lyrics from the Boro:

I heard there was a secret ball

Sweetman dreamed it would beat them all

But you don

As its Christmas I thouht I would do this one for wiz.

Old wiz he thinks he was a God

And that he played to please us all

But we don't really care for football do we.

He never made it as a pro to the third or forth, the Minors were his stop. The baffled wiz composing Terry Readon.

Terry Readon Terry Readon Terry Readon Terry Reeeeeaaaaaaaaaaadon.

thanks woger webel-

ok so you guessed it right i am god to one and all,

sadly all you are is a complete moronic fool.

like many more of your friends on here

your brains( ? )are addled with to much beer.

maybe in a more sober state you dream,

that you and football have a personal scheme,

to show the world that you mean

you have no idea what is or isn't a decent team.

you laud a manager who has no proven form

yet keep saying " we will ride the storm "

how many more games do we give him rope

to prove like you, he has not a hope.( in hell)

woger wabbit guess what we have for xmas dinner tommoz-ok you've guessed-one of your many cousins !!!!!
