I think it has to be from a url, I remember I had the same problem. You have to upload the picture onto photobucket or something and then link it up. If you want the same picture as the one on the new forum, then right click on it, click properties and copy and paste the url.

I had no trouble changing mine recently. John. The browser button is at the bottom of the my profile page. If yours has disappeared PM Ian W.! He might take a time to answer as he is busy with a server change at the moment!

Funnily enough, I can't change mine on the Official Forum, but the two sites/problems shouldn't be linked!

Fleety USA changes his avatar as often as he changes his under-pants, or so I'm lead to believe !!

 

Not many changes there, then !!!!
