Poor ol Redbridge, a team we only beat once in four goes, managed a crowd of 19 paying customers at a borrowed ground yesterday. Grand takings of probably around

Maybe even bigger problems at fisher.

 

Talk of them going down more than one division-if that were to happen, would the 19th team in the ryman avoid relegation ?

 

Why am i worried about that ?

Really sad. They are in an awkward position geographically, so near to Leyton Orient, West Ham, Hornchurch, Dagenham & Redbridge, Grays and others which I must have missed.

 

I feel so sorry for the people who try to run the club - must be soul destroying.

I read they don't even have enough money to print a programme for their Boxing Day game v Wimbledon.

 

The sad thing is their old ground, which they must have left five years ago, is still untouched.

Maybe upon reflection then, we have a fair bit to be grateful for ,in the way that despite arguably previous errors, the current board have strived to keep us trading ?

I think you are absolutely correct there MM; what we should always remember is that there are still, in this world of hi-tech you name it that people can stay at home for, there are still people who are trying to run things which keep people together and maintain some sort of a community aspect.

 

And be grateful to them for doing so.
