Just picked up these two comments from the unofficial Harlow Fans Forum . . .

Well ive just got back from Margate, and i must admit the scoreline does not reveal the truth of the game.

We played well and again created a lot of chances but the luck was just not with us. 3 times we had the ball in the back of the net but 2 offsides and 1 foul meant the ywere not allowed.

Dee was very impressive and as usual Jamie run his scoks off upfront and held the ball up very well. Rafa and Kyle look quite promising too.

The way we lost our heads at the end though was shocking, there was no discipline at all and Leon Lalite made a shocking challenge and deserved a straight red. Didnt see Chappo's red that clearly but from what others said he deserved to go. It also seemed Kirby, Tayler and Richards were lucky at times not to see red.

The question now is where do we go from here? what happens when 7 defeats become 8 and so on?

Is now the time to make a change?

We dominated the first half having a goal dissallowed, hit the bar, missed a one on one, Taylor made the keeper tip over the bar, Richards made the keeper save from a long range effort, we had another header loop onto the top of the net and another shot went just passed the post. But when you don't take your chances you have yourself to blame. Margate then break away in the 46th minute and we then find ourselves 1 nil down. It was virtually Margates only decent effort on target in the first half.

The second half was a different affair and Margate came out the better side and after they got their 2nd there was only going to be one winner. We had another goal dissallowed and a few chances to score but never looked like getting back into the game.

Things got worse when we lost our discipline, Belly saw red for a lunge on one of their players after he had lost the ball, straight red no complaints. Chappo then got sent off for a 2nd bookable offence. Taylor could of got his 2nd yellow but only got a talking to from the ref. Our discipline is starting to get the better of us and we now lose players for forthcoming fixtures that we need to win.

We have now shipped in 21 goals in 7 games which is worrying when only 7 games ago we had the 2nd best defence in the league. Why has it gone so wrong at the back?

What we need now is a game against Hornchurch to get our confidence back. Oh look, next up is Hornchurch. They have failed to score at Barrows Farm so if they can keep up their record we are guaranteed at least a point.

Up The hawks. Lets get behind them at Hornchurch, the players need us more than ever.
