The game today

This was the first time i had seen us play for about 2 months since we beat Dartford 1-0 and the first half it seemed that we had got a lot worse in those 2 months. Apart from the opening 10 mins when we controlled the game and looked threatening we looked awful right up to we went 1-0 up just before half time. The start of the second half looked promising and Harlow threatened very little and as the second half went on we looked stronger and more confident. Once we went 2-0 up there was only going to be one outcome and i have to say Shittu's first goal was a fantastic finish. Our 3rd goal though was by far the best goal purely because of the build up play and Shittu's cheeky finish.

 

Harlow were terrible and sore losers today and if anything they were a bad advertisement to the Ryman league with hoofing the players and fouling at any given oppurtunity. Taken nothing away from our lads and i really hope this will give us the confidence to go and beat Ramsgate next week, which shouldn't really be a difficult challenge. (expect a reply from a certain ramsgate supporter that only attends the big games)

 

All in all i'm delighted with the 3 points and even happier that we won 3-0 and kept a clean sheet.
