Moleseys first team contain 10 different players from last year so it took some time for the team to gel, but now I think the squad have settled and hopefully we can mount a challenge!

 

Got a couple of games in hand and aren't too many points off the top, it would be nice to get up there!

Bookham 6-1 Guildford City

A great performance by Bookham despite going a goal down early on they came storming back to dominate the 1st half, thought 3-1 flattered GC at halftime. Another goal early into the 2nd half sealed the win .
The game was held up for an hour due to a back injury to Aneel Azeem and we wish him a speedy recovery. Once the game got going again Bookham contiued in the great play and cantered to a 6-1 win.

Before I get shot down yes the floodlight where used but it was not know whether they would come on, how many would come on and for how long they would stay on.

Credit to the Sweeney great noise throughout the game.

Sorry we had to ask you to take yer wooly 'at off Teffs !

The added reflection helped greatly.



I also wish Aneel a speedy recovery. Any news yet, City fans ?

Credit to Bookham, they played well but it's worrying times for the City after such a good run of form.

Epsom Bedfont game ref was awful for both sides. Just a poor quality ref. Epsom tall centre back Charlie West I think looked decent. Wins the ball every time leaves his position. Good on the ball. Dominated Chris Henry until the last minute.

Heard the ref was a right lardy kent and when waddling down the slope could not stop on numerous occasions and it was purely down to him the Dorking lost

Felt we definately deserved the win and could of had more if we had taken our chances. Gave you a boost after gifting you the goal, but our GK made up for it with a couple of good saves when under some pressure.

Was impressed by your No 6 who never stopped working. Not sure what your No 7 was trying to do at the final whislte though, but thankfully it didn't come to anything.

 

2 wins on the spin has certainly given the boys' some more confidence going into a big game against Guildford on Sat!!

Like many other games, it was a game of ifs and buts... The match finished 2-1 to you boys and that is that. I agree that the ref wasn't one of the best and he made some odd decisions both ways, obviously the double handed save by your 5 (who admitted he should've walked) stands out clearest to me and that could've changed the result but it didn't so we'll just have to get our revenge at your place

 

There will still be many twists to the outcome of the season I'm sure!

Definately, There are still 8 sides who can realistically win it and only just approaching the half way point.

 

That ref was never going to give the penalty, he had absolutely no bottle. Lukily both teams behaved themselves.

Hounslow 2 Frimley 0

 

With wind and sun against us first half, we coped with what they threw at us, and could have scored a couple ourselves. Felt confident at half time of taking the game.

 

Hounslow went one up 5 mins into 2nd half with a play about 5 yards offside. The offsides (not given) got so bad that the referee started giving them whether the assistant put his flag up or not!

 

Poor SL, not the fastest bloke in the world and Hounslow just kept running at him and our full back and thats how they got their second.

 

Hounslow had a man sent off with 5 to go for calling the assistant a Cheating B@stard.

In response to Green Pea, 2 less disciplined sides could have turned nasty as the ref was very frustrating, and the early tackle going unpunished could easily have sparked some naughty challenges.
