Maldon Town 0 - Enfield Town 5

Squadron Leader

Recommended Posts

Did'nt make it today unfortunately, glad to read the positive comments, 5-0 is a great scoreline after a 3-0 win away to Ilford, a real test of or last two results and calibre will come against Wabbey, a win against that lot and we can seriously say our season, albeit 3-4 months late, is finally kicking off.

Can anyone tell me the line up today?

The sort of performance we should be putting in every week, rather than just half a dozen times a season.

Walton looked solid in goal. The two new full backs didn't put a foot wrong all game.Wilde at centre back looks to be just the sort of defender we have been crying out for.Surprised to see Tickner back in the side, but he played well alongside him..Jones was a dependable presence in midfield, with Rudi playing just ahead of him and Stevenson behind him in the holding role..Deane and Marshall provided good width and penetration on the wings, whilst Hughes worked manfully unfront on his own against two big centre backs, and fully deserved his two goals.

... 2 goals?

Scorers were Hughes, Hall R (2 - 1 pen), Deane and Hammond....
