ell my view is that Mike is currently a fine youth development coach with the U18's. I don't yet feel he is cut out for senior side of management, especially at the Town.

I dont think he has the presence or stature to command Adult Football respect.

In my view he has the capacity to maybe get an academy coaching upto 14's job with a pro club (but thats a bit glossed up more than the job actually is) or 18's at our level.

However to prove himself he has gone to a 'smaller' set up at PBT and to work with Adam Lee, I think he has made a correct move for himself personally, but can't see him succeeding, just my opinion.

He'll be missed by ourselves as the 18's developer but nothing more.

Good luck Mike hope you prove the board and myself wrong.

Unlike the present manager you mean? doah

I must say thats all a rather condesending view EU, considering the lectures you have given certain supporters on here about comments they have made.

Hope not, but thats football and the way it goes.

Hopefully the midweek win in the County Youth Cup will adress that, at least in part. I think Broxbourne Borough probably ought to be more concerned about losing players. And we can hardly blame Adam & Mike, if Town is taking players from PBTFC.

Wern't we all told a few weeks ago that Mike was stepping down from his prominent role at the club because of 'work committments'?? Has Mike's work committments reduced enough over the last few weeks to enable him to take on a senior role at another club,or was that excuse a pile of tosh? As most of us suspected it to be at the time?

Neither comment by Mike himself but by members of our club! Priceless!

Good Luck Mike, all the best for the future.

I was just letting you know what Mike himself told me Gazza, so I would assume that something must have happened since to make him now decide to leave. But hey Ho, that they say, is Football.

Nuff said.

Condesending view? I'll predict that PBT will go backwards with AL and MS running there first team, just my gut feeling and a degree of my footballing opinion.

I hope that todays result and the 3-0 win v's Ilford are not flashes in the pan and that we finally have an XI that are gonna fulfil the hopes that our ETFC supporters deserve.

We can look forward with expectation now to the next game.

FYT-Iwas'nt gonna reply to your post, but dont label me as a MR Nasty cos those who know me will confirm I'm just a frank person who speaks out honestly.

If you cared to read my previous posts I wished MS all the success and hoped he proved the board and myself wrong, I also mentioned he'd done a good job with the youth and that a PBT post is a good opportunity for him, so please read the encouraging words equally to my opinionated words.

What do you make of everyone who is saying SM is not upto it again and again, its there opinion, I've never regarded them as nasty, just opinionated.

Well I could only pass on what he told me. Hey Ho, hope he does well at PBT.

It think a change of manager at PBT had been on the cards for a while; certainly Adam Lee had been tracking the job during that time. I don't tink anyone can knock Mike for accepting Adam's offer to join him there, nor for taking some of the U-18's with him. If Mike can turn them into accomplished first team performers, I suspect we'll see them in blue and white again!
