Im sure someone at your club will know this but i think what your club needs to do is have a meeting with a planning consultant. (theres a firm in canterbury) But as ive said im sure lever will already know this. I recently built two houses in someones back garden in chestfield, when the chap applied canterbury planning said he would never ever get permission. He got a planning consultant involved and the plans where passed. Obviously they charge for there service but they are really good to have on your side. Good Luck.

Sorry but I am sick and tired with the "no response " from our club, take a look at the other official websites of clubs in the same league as us, Dover, Maidstone, Dartford, always full of club news, yet we wait days and days for any comment in fact all we do is repeat what is given to the press, nothing comes to this site first it just shows to me how totally unprofessional we really are. It its all very well having personalities in charge but we do not get the basics right, and i dont go with this "part time " crap we are all part time forum users but we are still on here day after day !!!

I agree Tom. In my opinion my sunday league team's site is better than Margate's one!!!! It keeps people informed of new signings. Has regular polls and news updates, even if the news is very small. It takes 5 minutes to add an update. Come on MFC sort it out please.

I am grateful that other share my views, I am not a critic just very, very frustrated that we are the last to know on this site. Who runs the web site? if it is "official" than the club should run it I get the impression like most things at out club its survives with the support of dedicated volunteers.

I'm the first to what more 'professionalism ' but do we need a bit of reality here-as you say GT-'the club survives with the support of dedicated volunteers'-thats how it is at this level surely ?

I am very grateful to those volunteers;and unless i was able to personally commit, or improve, i do not feel it correct to criticse others who dedicate voluntarily

I appreciate others may feel different.

I also believe that the clubs official site in terms of quality is in the top 15% of ryman clubs and in terms of updates-is also in the top 15%.

No reason why it should not be No 1 either-but that takes time and money resource-and maybe just maybe that time and money is going on other priorities at the moment.

Similarly, whilst we are advised the official site is getting more and more hits, the club also circulates info via the media-and realiistically ,more people will still read about the club in the media ,than on line.

Sorry, I totally disagree with MM of course we rely on volunteers that is NOT my criticism, look at Maidstone and Dover websites there is NO comparison with ours, if we are getting more and more hits its about time we put something on there for people to read, how about "views from the manager" "views from the Directors" interviews with players, updates on current news and signings, my point is and I will repeat, Is it the official website, if the answer is Yes then there should be official updates from the club not repeated views from newspaper articles, why are we always so defensive about our Club, we the supporters are the only constant and I feel that we are treated very very poorly by OUR club.

Still disagree GT sorry, these jobs are mainly done by volunteers and are not on beck and call every minute of the day, they have their own jobs to do as well.
