well wot a treat over the bridge last nite,the stay aways be warned it was a classic,after a pretty even first half ricay took the lead second half and threatened to run riot,then it was 2 nil and the urchins could'nt string 2 passes together,ricay fans were havin a field day at our expense,then with 6 minutes to go jesus scores,then last kick of the game jesus saves us not b4 some ricay fan shouted out at us or the players dont forget the posh,that spurred us on cheers fella,extra time eastside have now found their voice and takin control on the pitch,first half 2v2,second half urchins gettin stronger then the sheer joy jimmy mac makes it 3 v 2 ,belter of a game which ricay played there part and must be wonderin how on earth they lost ,appy days roll on the quater finals

Just as well it's a game of 92 minutes.

Did seriously think we had lost the game and what with the way we were playing.

But as always you can never be sure with Hornchurch!

there were some glum faces on the red half of the eastside until we scored then sheer elation come the final whistle and stunned looks on the faces of the ricay fans

One of the better games for a long time. Not for the quality of football, as we huffed and puffed. But the last 15 of normal ttime was stuff that dreams are made of.

Ricay lost the plot after garness/wood or woods/garness left the field. The urchins then ground out two goals, where from? I will never know.

Kris Lee and Simon did play a big part, Simon missed an absolute sitter as well, Tucker did pulled off some fine saves including Tommo's opportunity to double his tally for the year and a wonderfull juggling act off the post.

My MOM vote goes to Dave Sadler, came on with 10 to play and ended up playing nearly 45 mins, if he had scored the winning goal in extra time we would have gone mental.

Sorry to see the Ricay lose, but it was a great cup match if your an Urchin. Oh you lightweight, fair weather supporters, you missed a classic.
