Went to what I thought was Barkingside v Stansted game last night, however the Barkingside players had changed dramatically from the 1st leg.

 

They had a new goalie, new right back, new left back, new centre half, new right midfielder, centre midfielder and a new striker, I asked a couple of supporters how come so many changes and was told they had been loaned some for this game from Aveley.

 

I also saw the Aveley manager by the bench so should the scoreline be Aveley 3 Stansted 1???????????????????

 

Does this mean that any team can get players in for any round of the league cup, if so then does this not devalue the competition?????

there is nothing in the rules that says barkingside are doing anything wrong mate think there very smart to get dual reg with a rymans club?

Doesnt devalue the competition as if were the Carling Cup (which of course as a Spurs fan is the most important trophy in the world! ).

 

However its not exactly fair on the Barkingside players who have played every week, to suddenly be bombed for a Quarter Final tie, by some Aveley players who need a game of football.

 

7/8 new players just for one game. Obviously Barkingside realised they couldn't beat them with a normal side out, and so the management had to call in the cavalry.

To be honest they have done that to you in the league game against us,playing that tortouise at right back...

who cares whats fair, football has never been fair, its all about the present no manager remebers yesterday and at the end of the day the barkingside manager is in the results busness, so most teams we improve even if it is only for one game.

Shouldn't players for a club in the ESL QF's have played at least two league games for them or have been signed on at least a week before or something similar?

Otherwise its a waste of time getting a squad together, you might just as well affiliate as a reserve side to a bigger club!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
