Saturday Pitch Inspections

Recommended Posts

Molesey players were geting booked for dissent because of frustration, they are a young team.

I noticed your sub or coach getting sent off from the sidelines for saying something to the ref.

I have to say though I don't remember the two goals at Walton Road, you would have to remind me what was wrong...

I didn't realise but there was only 6 Moles fans behind the goal yesterday, usually we have at least double that. But our noisiest fans were there!

And he was rightly sent off Elfie. But I do like the way you justify your cautions. Dissent is dissent mate end of. Both sides were equally quilty of it. I think at least 5 of our players are under 20. Does that mean I can justify the behaviour of our players. No.

Only joking Kroons didn't really see you mate but then again I didn.t go anywhere near to the burger bar,yer I don't really know to much about the lad who was sent off but he does go a bit over the top with his appealling, have been to Cambo twice this year and both times people have been sent off from the bench, thats why the players are all going after the ref because they are being set the wrong example.

In the end, I was more than happy with the weather.

Just for once a brilliant day for television.

"The Sting" Messrs Newman and Redford.

followed by....

"Close Encounters......"

and an early evening on BBC2 of "Dads Army" memorabilia.

A truly fantastic day with a few bevvys and good food.

Better than 'Muddybank' in the rain, anyway !

Its funny how one see's a game I and a few people around me thought it was a good advert for Combined Counties football, end to end with some really well worked goals a draw being a fair reflection of the game. However the ref. baiting got out of hand at times the main protagonist should certainly know better as he was the most experienced player on the pitch, as for a member of the bench being sent off leaves a lot to be desired.

You're right young players will be petulant. I didn't realise your players were that young! Maybe younger than the Molesey team. Which takes some doing!

I don't know why, but I assumed your players were more experienced, I think its from last year in the Ryman league when Moleseys squad were young and inexperienced compared to the veterans at every other team

A stronger ref would have definitely given Mr Sills an early bath bath...mouthing off the entire afternoon and throwing the ball away when decision didn't go his way !! I don't often watch Combined Counties but thought this a cracking match , very exciting with the conditions adding to the game...credit to Camberley for getting the game on bow
