On the positive side we gave a prem team a run for their money in normal time, extra time is always a lottery and I suppose the fitter team will always come out on top at our level.

Good to see Stephenson and Crace back. When will Remy be ready to return.

I'm looking forward to Saturdays game now a couple of the 'better' players are back.

yes we played well, should have put them to the sword though. Jerky missed a one on oen last minute, and rudi was clean through as well. you could see the equaliser coming, looked like a goalkeeping mistake from Willis to me, who looked shakey (maybe understandable after so long out, but Walton should be number 1).

stevenson was excellent, but why did we take off wild? it went to pieces after that.

best wishes to Jamie lawrence as well, he went off in an ambulance (yes, that Jamie lawrence ex Bradford and Southampton)

and yes, it was a bit parky.

EU why is extra time a lottery? what happens come the 91st minute then? we seemed to of collapsed with 3 goals in 3 minutes, the fitness point is fair enough & probaly the more likely reason.
However lets hope we carry the performance on into the league games.

Gazza-your nit picking my comments matey. But i'll reply nevertheless, The difference between the 91st minute and extra time is well firstly 29mins, but also the momentum of the game is not broken up with a 10min or so break. Add the morale sapping fact that we led for so long only to be knocked back with 3ish minutes to go of normal time, Jonny M's brief summary is a good one too.

I agree with fellow fans that Walton is the number one. If Wild came off then it may be to protect him from a second booking. It's a cup match and experimenting is very acceptable for a game like this one.

I'm expecting good tidings this Saturday now that some of the lads are available again.

EU not nit picking at all, was a general view, I dont believe anything happens in extra time except tiredness then fitness tells.

If I was nit picking then I would say that you seem to always look for excuses & have this knack of becoming "cliche man" then spurt a lot of dialogue that appears to be taken from some guru's PMA book.

However I respect, even if I dont agree with your views, and was merely not agreeing with your view of extra time.

'Guru's PMA book?' I'd read one if I knew where to get one.

My view is always a positive one in the face of despair, identify strngths and add and build round it, thats my philosophy. At the same time I'm not oblivion to the facts that surround our team and club either. Before you say it, no, I did not get that paragraph from any PMA, FA bok or a 4-4-2 magazine either.

Like you I respect everyones views and am impressed with some very good comments and views, although, a couple on this site need to be on suicide watch.
