Frimley Green Vs. VCD Athletic

Recommended Posts

Frimley showed their true fighting spirit in more ways than one. Frimley had a couple of chances early in the match but faced a VCD team who had good possesion but could not break down the strong Frimley defence and TC in goal. VCD like to play the ball into their 2 center forwards so we stopped that happening. The game was eventful and enjoyable to watch for the 97 minutes i was allowed in the technical area. I think the replay at theirs on a tuesday night will be tough to win but we are the massive underdogs which we love.

I noticed Krooner did not mention someone paid his entry into the match.

We may lose Tuesday but its nice to be in the draw to see where we might of gone.

Yeah you didnt have a bad game Johnno you was probably MOM, but i did beat you in the air 1-0, dont think i had a bad game either to tell the truth, but i do think if you dont play your team are no where near as good, should of smashed you earlier on that infamous ankle, i did get you about chest high though and got booked for gutted, still well played.

Cant beleive Duncs is still swallowing that "broken ankle" story smile

League looks like it could be between the top 5 and in the cold light of day I am happy we are out of the Vase so that we dont end up getting a backlog cos of it.

Battle of the midgets eh GUV!!

Yes it was chest high thank you! Dont remember you beating me in the air though!!

The four of us had a decent battle in midfield i thought. You certainly had the majority of the 1st half posession but tired in the 2nd half. With all that posession you must be disappointed your team didnt create 1 real goal scoring opportunity or make our keeper use his gloves!!

Have to call you the new wembley!! Play it out from the back quite well!

You werent your normal chatty self on Saturday!! Thought we could of had some decent banter!

Did you know which ankle it was??

2 burgers and 3 doughnuts actually Krooner.

Noticed you spent most of your time near the cake stall aswell mate!!

Bite is as follows:

Confirmed by x-ray as broken to my disappointment on Saturday last week. Only a small crack which is why they didnt put it in a plaster cast. Told to not play or train for 3-4 weeks.

Felt a lot better at training on Thursday. Decided to declare myself fit Saturday morning! Had a Ravenscote Burger Saturday at 12.30pm as preperation. Glad i played !!

Your right ankle looked heavly strapped, yer it was a good battle, and maybe the two of us on our team were the only ones who could hold our head up high, yer we out played you in the 1st half, but our keeper was injured in the warm up so even though we like to play from the back we were forced to do it all the time and like i said in a different post fair play to you lot because you sussed it and pushed us back in the 2nd half and overall you deserved it, but thats the story of our season very good one game awful for the next 3, still Staines on tuesday THANKS, in the middlesex senior and its their 1st team so we'll probably win that.On me chatting i was for 70, gotta abit pissed of with the last 20, With your team when you talk people take it on board with us its in one out the other.

Should of hit you on that ankle early, im convinced we would of one, think you have a massive influance in that team, and take that as a massive complimant coz i dont give them out easy.

best of luck for the rest of the season, if this was last season i would be calling you every Kent under the sun.

see you in feb for the return

Krooner, what did you make of the referees performance? No arguements with our redcard, but my opinion is that a referee who cautions more for dissent than anything else tends to be a referee who is not having a good game.

He was big time from the start and disrepectful to the level he was officiating. Doesn't normally do this level apparantly

TC can I first say that when they hit the post with what I described as a deflected shot I understand in fact that you saved it. If so top save.

I spoke with SL on Saturday night and I dont want to get into the refs performance. The only real thing that stood out for me was the tackle by their skipper on O'Brien after the whistle went for an earlier foul. Straight red for me and as I said earlier I am not sure the ref picked either the tackle or who did it cos he disappeared from the scene quickly.
