As for games being played mostly in silence, God knows where you stand! Unless, of course, your hearing is particularly poor. There's often a fair bit of noise coming from the choir. Just listen to the commentary from Saturday's game or go on Carshalton's forum and note their remarks on our positive vocal support.

I think the choir do a GREAT job and belive me the players DO respond to it,so if the GATE get beat...we can always blame the choir,just a joke lads keep it going.

Slightly off thread but what do you all think about the 16 spurs fans that the police are looking for regarding the chanting at sol campbell at the last Pompey / spurs match

 

To me it seems harsh considering that the vast majority of the 4000 away fans were singing it.

 

For those who dont know the song it mocks his mental state, hopes he gets HIV and hangs himself

I don't know for sure Hornet but I think there was more to this incident than just swearing at the ref. If it were the case I too would be guilty.On several occasions.

I think it was more the swear words he used Hornet, rather like the ones used against Standen last season and looked what happened there!!

Apart from anything else, we can do without the club being sanctioned due to the nature of abuse levelled at the officials - thats not unheard of, and do we know if that is behind the clubs reminder? Who knows if the ref didn't complain to the authorities about some of that stuff?
