Annie it will only take about 5 minutes (maximun) to walk from Carshalton Station. However, if you go to Carshalton Beeches station then you will need a taxi.

The station is definitely within walking distance of the ground. We passed the station on the coach when we went to Carshalton a few weeks back.

A word of warning for all going by train.

 

I went up on the train to Carshalton because we were going on to the O2 that night for the David Haye v Monte Barrett fight.

 

Anyway, what was a simply journey turned out to be a right f**king hassle because of the line closures on the underground! Would definitely recommend checking on the www.tfl.gov.uk/tube website before leaving to avoid making the same mistake we did.

 

Still, we got there in time eventually, god knows how! The ground is an easy 5 minute walk from the station, turn right as you come out, over the roundabouts and it's up the road on your right.

If you want a drink turn left out of the station, down the slope to main road, turn left again, under the bridge and the Railway Tavern is on your left.

Someone with a mini bus/coach could make a fortune by running away trips from the stadium I would be interested as i dont drive.

I think it would be worth learning to drive before you buy that minibus or coach, Sam!
