....the scorelines & look at the attendances!

East Thurrock United 5-0 Waltham Forest 126

Great Wakering Rovers 2-2 Northwood 90

Hillingdon Borough 1-3 Concord Rangers 60

Ilford 0-3 Enfield Town 131

Leyton 0-2 Witham Town 48

Maldon Town 1-0 Aveley 65

Potters Bar Town 1-4 Tilbury 68

Thamesmead Town 1-1 Wingate & Finchley 57

Ware 0-2 Redbridge 177

6 out of 9 games didnt make treble figures, with Ware yes WARE getting the biggest attendance with 177!

I said when the league structure was announced at the end of last season that the RLN1 was awful, the Isthmian league need to look at the structure again or this level will sink to the same as level 5, no income through the gates is the start of a slow downfall.

Xmas shopping, cold weather, credit crunch these are weak excuses EU before you use them! evil

Spot on again Mr H.
A missed opportunity due to poor Team Management, Team selection and that Revolving Door.
Just look at how many players have been used in 23 games since 16th August and how many Players have been signed ( and left ).

Little Pre-Christmas teaser...

Since pre season ( say mid July )to now ( early December )

1, How many Players have Town signed ?

2, How many have played a competetive game ?

3, How many have played in the League ?

4, How many have not actually featured at all ?

5, How many have left without playing a League game ?

Bonus - How many more will be signed this season ?

I am sure JC can come up with the answers - given time.

Yes I do remember you saying that the clubs in our league this season are not that well supported and so it proved.

I looked at the Premier Division and apart from Dartford 950+ and Sutton 650+ there were only two sides with 300+ and the rest below 300 with many in the 100's.

Clubs succeed by selling their facilities and raking in the income other than depending on the gate. But we all know that.
Add the few clubs that are toys for some wannabe billionaire chairmen and are bank rolled by them.

So whence the boards desire to get the cafeteria and bar facilities up and running foremost to anything else, very wise and sensible.

But I accept ofcourse, that success breeds success. We need one promotion by the time we get into the QE, and we'll be sorted. We also need to make our Stadium a very enjoyable and interesting place to come to from OAP's-to the U10's, with something for everyone.

I was told at the start of the season by a director this would be our year for promotion (the easy way). Please, please, please don't choose my lottery ticket Mr Director!
