From the horses mouth eh?. Very humorous though Ian I must admit.

Made me laugh did that.

According to the local I thought you that you had got over your 1/2 season blip Ian. Is that not the case then?

Cookie, you are being overly generous to Mullin, their second goal was a shocking error on his part. You could have saved that shot.

And if Pratt could hit a cow's [****!!****] with a banjo we would have won that game. He missed two sitters.

P.S. Lee Shearer - no, no, no. He was finished five years ago.

a)I think I gave a fair account of that goal.
Unlucky that it slipped under his body or a complete [****!!****]-up?. Okay I side with the latter! (He did make a few good saves too though)
b)Agree,Pratt just cannot score a goal & dosen't at present time seem to know how to.Its half a season gone & he should be putting them away by now I agree.
c)Agree. Sorry Tony M but not Shearer. Maybe another perhaps.

Second half we did seem to be doing things right and IMO looked the better side, either TYs subs were class moves or the half time "CHAT" was awe inspiring the likes of Winston Churchill would of been proud of. Confused to his starting line up though - Coleman seemed ineffective and Stubbs was as ever a workhorse when he came on.

Excepting the very first game of last season v Chelmsford, can anyone remember a game where Coleman was effective ?

I believe Mr Ashby established that quite early on, and so i was very surprised at Mr Yoraths selection, but maybe he had to see that for himself in a 'proper game'.

Agree with most of the comments posted so far. Poor defending / keeping cost us two goals again. But, in that second half (again), we really were dominating for periods and, much like Staines last week, Carshalton seemed happy just to clear their lines at times. Thoroughly deserved the point and, in all honesty, with the chances we created, on another day we could have taken all three. Most other teams in this league would have succumbed to our attack in the second half and we certainly would have won.

I've no doubt, with more performances like yesterday's second half, we will start to climb the table.

Maybe TY should, when seeing the players in the changing room BEFORE the game, imagine we have just come in after a first half, are playing crap & a goal down & give them an almighty bollocking & gee up then.

Its like I said before, elsewhere. The players should be thinking they ARE a goal down ALL the time even if they're winning or drawing.

Its all too easy to think that things will just come in time during the game.It often dosen't turn out that way.We have to "force" the result.
