Coulsdon Utd 1-2 Dorking

Good away win for Chicks as their charge up the table continues. Two quickfire goals from Bennett & Page midway through the second half turned the game on its head. The home side took the lead in the first half apparently. I say apparently, as I forgot it was a 2pm KO and turned up at 3pm blush

Just as well TSF was there, as i'd have gone back out at 4pm waiting for the second half to start (in the dark!!) crazy

Croydon 3 v 1 Camberley Town

Went to Frimley Green. Game was goalless at half time and was probably right. 2nd half VCD dominated possession and were unlucky when a deflected shot hit the post. FG defended superbly. Into ET. Frimley Green lost a player to injury from a tackle that earnt the VCD player a yellow card. This left FG with 10 as they had used all their subs. VCD then hit the post before taking a deserved lead. Credit to FG who hit back to score a great equaliser. VCD then hit the bar. 2nd half of ET was vewry eventful with a FG player being shown a straight red for a terrible tackle and he was rightyl sent off. What happened in the melee was hard to see but no one else went. It was all hands to the pump and FG survived to fact a tough replay in Kent. It was also amazing that the VCD skipper was still on the pitch as he made a tackle equally as bad as the one that earnt the FG player a red card but was missed. Hethen had the cheek to moan about other decisions. He was a lucky boy. Also to top it of there was a little barny between an FG fan and a VCD guy which finished when the VCD man used the F word in front of my 7 year old son. Promptly put him in his place and to be fair he did come up later and apologise. Good Luck to SL and his men in the replay. SL should be proud of them

Coulsdon united really got amongst Dorking for the first hour , physically, verbally,

fairly. They never let the players settle for a second and when they won the ball they used it well. Whilst they rode their luck they were deserving their lead.

Last half hour twenty minutes the game got very stretched as the sides tired, this time it favoured Dorking who scored two and could maybe had two more with fast breaks from the free scoring Bennet and Page.

Last three games, a late winner and two come from behind victories.

Well done all at the club.

Thanks to Coulsdon/Netherne for their excellent hospitality and friendliness.

Just wanted to add Mole Valley SCR's congrats to Croydon for their victory; commiserations to Molesey, and to wish Frimley Green all the best for the Vase replay.

Hope you can keep the flag flying..

no 1-0 to me on that account eh Johnno, no in all honsty i thought we were the better team the 1st half, 2nd half different stort, our keeper had been injured in the warm up so he was really struggling kicking so we played from the back no matter what 1st half we got away with 2nd half cove just pushed us back so fair play on there behalf, 0-0 with 20 to go, keeper went off at 1-0 we just collapsed which was most dissapointing.

Will Cove win the league?personnaly i dont think so, but the way teams are dropping points you just never now, see you in feb Johnno
