3 points to bridge the gap between bottom and top half of the table

sounds very promising after reading all the chances we seemed to have created today and it sounds like their keeper is probably man of the match if Gary's comments are anything to go by

lets hope for a repeat next week against a team similarly placed in the league to us

hopefully Evans aint too badly hurt

It was a very good performance. The first half was fairly even and Jacko had to make some good saves but we had a couple of gilt-edged chances as Romeo fluffed in front of goal, and a Pritchard volley forced a very good save from their keeper.

The second half was dominated by Slough after we went ahead and we had a number of decent chances. I thought we were good value for a clean sheet as Paulton rarely threatened, so it was a shame about the goal 4 minutes into injury time. There wasn't really time to kick off again after that but we still managed to see a yellow card for Jacko and a red card for dissent for one of their defenders before the final whistle!

No reason why we can't go to Bridgwater and win next Saturday.

Great result considering when we played us at home last season they battered us and they only had 10-men for most of the match.

Shows you what confidence does to you in football. Four weeks ago would never have gone there and got a result.

Great start to a tough month with Bridgewater up next, who although lost at home to Taunton today in an upset will be out for revenge and are one of the better sides in this league.

Great result. A massive well done to the players and the management - as Nathan said, difficult to get a result after a few unsure weeks, but I'm thrilled to hear about the win.

Couldn't make the game as my physio appointment wasn't until 1pm - Marcus couldn't go either as he was (and still is) very ill... could someone tell me would qualify as STFC's Man of the Match please?

We were struggling to come up with a man of the match on the way back. It really was a cracking performance and the team as a whole were great. Pritchard was back to his best, running the midfield. The defence was superb and DJ was excellent leading the line up top. Good stuff Rebels keep it going.

One of the best performances of the season so far. Paulton looked like a team that is not used to losing at home, and were quite a physical side.

I agree MOM is difficult. Along side the names already mentioned, Sonny had another cracjing performance, as well as Harper in defence after Luke went off injured.

Even better, we could have easily had 3 or more goals if it wasn't for the keeper.

Another mention has to go to the ref, who didn't seem to know what was going on for most of the match.

Well done Rebels
