Hey 60, I wish we were actually playing Ramsgate AWAY this weekend, there's a nice 10 mile run up your way on Sunday. Woulda been a nice weekender...(woulda meant I couldn't take you up on too many of your free beers though!)

 

Might still do the run...dunno.

Hi all, can't make this weekend but will be down again for the Tooting game - I have to sort out Christmas, I'm afraid! I would have liked to have been with you though. The weather is very bad up here at the moment and most of Cumbria is under snow. Not good for driving ...

This week it's Ramsgate.

Incidentally, I warned urchins (and urchinettes) of Ramsgate's noisy away following after their visit to Hitchin a few weeks ago.

 

They have an excellent drummer......and have a great line in chants and songs.

 

Vindaloo/Clementine are their faves.

Erm, I'm aware of non-league comraderie you know.

 

And for that reason I'll tip both urchins and rams off about the release from Hitchin Town of Tyron Sealey.

 

He was considered too 'flash' (i.e. skilful) for Hitchin's 'workmanlike'/relegation tactics.

 

Fact of the matter is that he was the one player who might actually 'do something' when he got the ball.

 

Just tap his name into google and you'll see a number of match references.

 

I'll certainly be keeping a look out to see where he ends up (assuming he doesn't hang up his shiny red boots in disgust)

 

He's a right winger - but the manager preferred to play him 'inside' more often than not (if he selected him of course)

 

........Which is why Hitchin are in the drop zone imo.

 

I suggest UU puts out a few 'feelers' - but not towards any urchinette or 'ewe' of course.

Whilst playing Hitchin some Rams were singing about Margate - but the Chas n' Dave version is much more melodic.
