well done lads in very tricky conditions ,pitch freezin by the minute and so were the hardy fans that made the effort to turn up.golf in class was obvious from the beginnin, second half urchins turned the heat up and four quality goals, the potters kept tryin and could have actually made it two one at one point but for woeful finishin and a very alert dale who was a spectator most of the nite, thanks again lads with a display that sort of warmed me up on a very very cold nitecool

Totally agree Dave. Its what Colin would call a professional performance. To be fair both sides made the ref's life easier by not diving in and making stupid challanges on a very slipery surface. We started with a green pitch and finished with a white one. I dont think the game would have finished if extra time would have been needed.

Solid performance without having to get anywhere near top gear.

Gulf in class between the sides, but still had a job to do.

Once the 1st goal went in it was only a case of how many as Dave predicted.

Worth going just for the banter aimed at their number 2.

Here's to the next 2 Tuesday nights at the Bridge. Hope it's warmer.

spose but still a club where i would of thought players at our level or even conference would like to play or trial out for despite their points deduction I thought their finance probs were over as they were taken over before the end of last season

Keep their current squad and go on a run. Could see 2 straight promotions for them.

agree Mick I think they will throw everything at promotion next season

This was not a night for pretty football but that said, I think we showed some nice touches in the cold conditions.

Simon Parker showed well in the first half and Elliott and Paul Shave were ready for anything that came their way.

Some good finishing put paid to a spirited performance from Potters Bar.

Bar 2 or 3 sides the Ryman North is of a pretty poor level this year.

I certainly think over previous seasons the teams in the Ryman North have been alot stronger.

Clubs like CIFC, AFCH, Bury, Sudbury, Dartford, Aresley made it a much better standard league.. Plus the support was better.

The likes of Brentwood and Ware are good sides but the rest is pretty poor
