Lost 4-1. Apparently the score flattered Billericay, but they scored 2 late goals after Dave Bastian was sent off for retaliation. Andy Jones MOM.

Not sure I agree with that.
The first half was reasonably even and we had a number of shots either blocked or they went wide.
Tony Tucker in the Ricky goal made 2 good saves.
0 - 1 half time. Still in it.

Within a minute of the second half we could have done much better but lost possesion ( a regular event tonight ) and Ricky scored after another defencive mix-up. 2 - 0 and dead.

However a speculative long shot from Gazza beats Tucker low in the corner and we are really back in the game at 1 - 2.
We actually looked good for 5 minutes.

Luck Marshall should have hit a shot first time for an "almost definate" goal, but takes several touches and the chance is lost. We then fall apart and "gift" Ricky 2 goals with stupid play and loss of possesion. One a pathetic free kick from Rudi which gives away possesion AGAIN.

Bastian is sent off for retaliation - staight RED- Absolute idiot.

What upset me was that SM did not make a substitution until very late bringing on Hughes and Hammond but no show for our Youth Forward Healy who sat on the bench all night - WHY ?
What was the point in bringing the Lad ?
Ideal opportunity to give him a run out.

As for our Management Team - I did not see any passion or encouragement OR TACTICAL "NOUSE" in the 90+ minutes.

Overall, Ricky showed much more effort and desire to win.
Others may have seen it differently !!
