Is that the Oaklands College fixture that Caretaker referred to in his comment under the 5-a-side thread?

 

It's ringing a bell. Wasn't Paul McHugh an Oaklands student who passed away during a game or something 3 or 4 years ago?

 

Might be wrong. Time dims the memory.

played for the Youth about 20yrs ago

 

used to be an annual fixture and this year was to be the last one,

The Paul McHugh match took place last Tuesday 6th May.

With the consent of Mr & Mrs McHugh the match has been renamed the George Walker Memorial Trophy and was contested last Tuesday evening. As in previous years St Albans City U12's took on Harpenden Colts U12's with City winning 5-0 this year.
