Important game tonight

really hoping to see a win tonight.

I believe we could really do with a run in this competition in order to keep interest up in the club;especially on midwinter midweek evenings;and in particular, with TY rebuilding a new team for second half of the season; we need games to play to get the side gelling.

I anticipate TY playing a 'strong side',and i hope we really go for the win.

Lets be honest-it did'nt do Ramsgate any harm last season during their run to the final in this competition.

Let's hope for the strongest XI. Personally, I would like to see us have a little run in the competition, for confidence, if nothing else. For me, Gregs in for Robinson (not too sure what Gregs has done wrong to be honest), with Pratt and Healey up front. Haven't been impressed with Tako from what I've seen.

Keep Morris at right back, he had a fair game on Saturday, bearing in mind he was out of position. Bring Stubbs in on the right, with Eb on the left. I know Eb isn't left-footed, but his sheer pace alone will cause problems, no matter which side of the pitch he is playing.

I'd like to see....

Mullins

Morris Young Erskine Gregory

Stubbs Wilson Ohakam Eb

Pratt Healey

And a repeat of our league result there would do nicely smile

Mullins

Morris Young Erskine Robinson

Stubbs Wilson Ohakum

Healey Savage Quain

Axon I think came on for Stubbs

Gregory for Robinson

Pratt for Savage

We were 1-0 up before they levelled and I thought we had a good first half.I felt confident that in the second half we could win it although we had not threatened their goal very much.Erskine scored with his head from an excellent Wilson free kick.Unfortunately we do not seem to score or create many goals from open play.

In the second half we were a different team,we created nothing up front,we defended badly and didn't create enough in the middle of the park.We scored a second against the run of play in a goalmouth scramble and wayne was only just wide in the final minutes but we would not have deserved a draw.To be honest Dartford were by far the better team in the second half although we matched them in the first.MOM Dan Young had a good game and so did Erskine.

certainly seems that way-lucky to escape with just a 3-2 defeat?

Reading the dartford forum it seems that Dartford hit woodwork twice and had two 'goals' disallowed.

Seems mullins was popular with their supporters aswell !

Good summing up from acdc. We did well for the first 50/55 minutes, but it all went Pete Tong after that. Must also mention two misses by Savage at 1-1 early in the second half - two low balls across the six-yard box that he didn't get a touch on.

Healey does nice little touches outside the box but he doesn't look like a 20-goals-a-season man, he's no Hockton-style goal pig.

Healey did more running than Power ever did for us last Saturday in just 10 minutes. IMO looks good on the ball and given a few games will either score or create goals am sure for us.
