Consecutive Home League Defeats

A quick look has (sort of) confirmed my suspicions that yesterdays defeat was our record run of consecutive home league defeats. It actually equalled records set under Chris Kinnear (at Crabble) in the Conference and under Terry Morris, as Thanet United, in the Southern League Southern Division.

A potential good omen is that the other time that the run was preceded by a 0-0, we broke it with a 3-0 win, so watch out Carshalton.

Obviously this data is subject to Jeff Trice spotting that I have made a schoolboy error somewhere!

Bully was actually talking about consecutive home LEAGUE defeats, the 88/89 run included several cup games.

Ok I stand slightly corrected but the record's actually six consecutive home league defeats as far as I can work out - from 30.1.82 to 3.4.82. List is as per Steve's initial post apart from the Ashford game on 16.2.82 which was a home game, not away as shown.

oh my god, i hadnt actually noticed that we had 2 consecutive wins in the league before saturdays game... lol!
