Player qualification for the Essex Senior Cup

As it gets nearer to our game at Colchester on Tuesday evening can any player signed on at the participating clubs =turn out or do they need to have played a certain number of their own league or Essex county cup games or have been signed on for a minimum period of time to be allowed to play.

 

I ask this question cos I see that Colchester have signed a number of loan players recently!!!!

The only rule Ive heard of is if you played for another club in that competition then you cant play in that cup for anyone else. I stand to be corrected though.

Well, not ringers actually if what has been said about eligibility is true but they may wish to see one or two or more of their loanees in action in their colours it occured to me.

Could be quite an interesting evening if they turn out a fairly strong squad against us.

Is that a certain date in the calendar or prior to the fixture?

Seven days before the tie I think. I would ask the Essex FA, but they would either ignore the email, or reply sometime next May....
