I like to read positive comment and support the Rebels, despite our present situation created 10 years ago thanks to Mr Thorne and the council and only delayed thanks to Mr. Deaner.

 

We're moving on and hopefully on the way back - you know new stadium in Slough lest we forget.

all my efforts to educate you staines and yet you STILL cannot read or at least understand what has been written in the messages-no one mentioned that they should not be paid-i asked the question were they paid when they didn't work so hard in the previous games-sweetman himself said they had been working hard these last two games-which infers previous to that they obviously hadn't.
a person called sue was trying to be clever with her silly reply and so i replied in kind-brighton rebel i never mentioned at all, he came on and typically just used blank spaces where he thought swear words should be.but then he's very brave living a 90 miles away lol !

Honestly, this has become the most tedious thing ever. I'm so bored of reading the same stuff repeated over and over again.

 

Wiz has made his mind up on Sweets and will not change regardless of what happens. So why even argue with him? Mostly he has good points even if I don't always agree with the way he puts them across (I know I know). If you have anything new and constructive to say please post but at the moment it is like being stuck in a painfully unfunny Groundhog Day.

i too think Wizard has some fair points at times that perhaps some wouldnt like to admit about the team or maybe just people want different things from this season

 

personal insults is so uneeded why cant we just respect each others opinions on the team and matches. its pathetic how this thread is onto 2 pages now about the Winchester game yet 1/4 at most of it is actually about the match and the rest is pointless. i used to like when this forum actually had peoples thoughts on the matches but now hardly anyone posts their views on matches at all. its just all people arguing mostly with Wizard over and over with the same "just ignore what you dont agree with" posts to follow it

Expecting a big crowd are we then Staines. Bear in mind the bar will open at about 6.30 so best take a few tins and maybe a good book to while away the hours.

 

And if you really expect to meet "The Man" then your expectations are as optimistic as his slant on nearly all things STFC is pessimistic.

Meant 7:15pm onwards - I think he will be there - I will be under the cover before the game, and during the game I will be at the end we are attacking unless it is raining, then I will be under the cover at the clubhouse end - I will make sure I am identifiable and then it is up to Wizard (RWG) to make him self known to me - if he wishes to do so.

In two minds about the Paulton game with the weather and travelling at the momment.

 

Will also see how I feel about the Brigewater game nearer the time.

 

Could have done without two long trips this time of year, as I have been caught out by games being called off last thing - Hendon a couple of years ago springs to mind, and that was even after the club had put sand on the pitch - the ref called it off about 15 mins before the game due to a single wet patch right on the edge of the pitch.
