Very comfortable against a team who look set for a struggle this season, although they did have a Southampton Youth team player up front and have made several signings of late.

Some good goals, but also our second clean sheet in a row. Unheard of. Harper, Evans and Allaway back three looks to be a good one as they created no clear-cut chances all game.

Bloody freezing as well!

A decent performance against quite a poor team, but it can only be good for team morale, good to score a few goals and keep the clean sheet too.

Hopefully we can keep up the improvement over the next few games, although there are some tough games to come before Christmas.

Well done boys, let's keep it up.

their guy up front with the dreads was very impressive imo but yep other than that they were poor though not really the clubs fault

slough were solid if not spectacular. 2nd half better than 1st

i thought the 3 strikers didnt work all that well together

its crazy how much better our defence looks with Evans there

Pritchard had another quiet game and was rightly taken off

Sonny was impressive especially intercepting play and deserved the assists he got

Platt and Romeo worked really hard again both deserved goals though Platt had little knowledge of his 2nd a hopeful shot from Fenton that hit him and went in. Platts 1st was well taken though and decent pen save

on another note we look really dangerous on corners now . not many defences will fancy going up against Evans, Harper and Allaway as well as the strikers as long as the delivery is good (which on the whole it was today)

3 points but nothing to get too carried away with. one big problem today was our midfield in the centre was being stretched with ease again that better teams will take advantage of more

Yes the second half was much better ..we need to believe in our selves and settle down, and just play...

I am glad people are praising Sonny...there are a few more out there in the under 18's side..so watch this space and maybe a few of our supporters will attend some under 18's matches..soon

cheers chris s

Great to have a win but not a great win and for 4 - 0 it wasn't a particularly exciting game. So much so that the Slough fans were unusually quiet.

The defence looks good and solid so Sweets deserves credit for bringing in Evans and Allaway. For me it was the midfield again that lacked something. Sonny might be the answer on the right and he had a good game yesterday but he won't have it so easy against stronger opponents. Otherwise I thought we were uncreative. Pritchard is so off his game at the moment I thought it was strange to pick him over Fermie.

Incidently I predicted 4 - 1 yesterday. Didn't get it correct but does that qualify me to know more about football than RWG??

Can't comment on the first half as I wasn't there, but I understand it was a more even contest. In the second half I think we did what we needed to do quite comfortably and had it in us to go on and score more. Shame about the missed penalty.

Winchester had a very young team out there and the lack of experience showed in the second half. Walking into the bar after the game was like walking into a sixth form common room!

From what I saw, Danny Jordan either seems to be carrying an injury or low on confidence, and we look weak in midfield as Pritchard had another average game. Another decent performance from Sonny though. I know the defence wasn't fully tested but it looks more solid so let's hope this result is a good starting point for a run of good results now.
