It seems once again that we have been given yet another away tie in the third round of the Southern League Cup!

 

The full list of the draw is:

 

Brackley Town v North Leigh

 

Bury Town v Hitchin Town or Cambridge United

 

Chaesham United v Beaconsfield SYCOB

 

Cinderford Town v Bridgwater Town

 

Gloucester City v Yate Town

 

Halesowen Town v Atherstone Town or Leamington

 

Hemel Hempstead Town or Dunstable Town v Windsor & Eton

 

Swindon Supermarine v Andover

 

 

To be played in the week commencing 12th January 2009...

 

Will we ever get a home tie in any cup this season? Traveling to Hemel Hempstead or Dunstable (Luton) during the the week is going to be a pain in the [****!!****]!

He,el's not too bad but don't fancy Dunstable much. At least we are still in it and for a place in the quarters!!!

Do they actually do a draw for this competition or do they just decide what the ties are going to be??

 

With the exception of our game all the other games seem to be conveniently local for the teams involved!

Considering the importance (or lack of) of the cup to most teams it is possibly the only way to keep them vaguely interested. Not a bad idea actually, just let each team pick who they would like in the next round!!
