Here is the official scoop that will be unveiled tomorrow night when the Hornchurch staff come together for a meeting.

 

George Borg is the new first team coach, which virtually means he will run the show (MY OPINION not a good move he has never done anything but time will tell, he loves big strong battling players and no longer will we see any football played over at Hornchurch, it will be long ball football which spells the end for Crippsy,The Wee Man and Lowery.).

 

Chris Moore has gone back to Billericay and it is rumoured that Hornchurch will be getting Ollie Adadaji from Billericay. (MY OPINION great move becasue if we want to win it we need better than Mooro).

 

I wish The Urchins had stuck with what they had this year but they aint and now things will certainly change with Borg there.

 

This is now speculation but I can also see Paul Sutton and Peter Gredley losing the reserve team job to Gary Moulding and Glen Dyson (MY OPINION great shame because Paul/Peter have been fantastic for Hornchurch Football Club although if I was them I would quickly be applying for the vacant Aveley job as STeve Mosely has now been appointed manager of Chelmsford City and Paul Parker has gone to Welling.)

I think Dmitri will be first choice goalkeeper next year and goalkeeping coach.

 

Mooro has gone and that is not a joke.

It would be a shame to see Long ball football at the stadium. I Dont think it would suit a lot of our players Lowrey/Cripsy/Lockie/Foxy/Gav/Scott so why change a winning formula.

 

I cant see many players being released........... At least i hope not.

Totally agree and long ball football is what you will get. No idea why we are spending out £15,000 on a new pitch cos we wont need it.

I wont say im doubting infact i actually agree with alot what u say you "Loyal Urchin" but i will wait to hear the "official" word !

 

But yets humour you and go along with what you said getting rid of Moore would be very strange(and personally i beleive stupid an excellant signing ) especially seeing that George Borg i know is a fan of him. But saying that im sure Adeji if George had a chance would be the first player he would bring to club.

 

A side note although Mick would be manager im guessing this first team coach would have a very big say as i couldn't see the names that have been linked with the job accepting it otherwise. If This proves to be true im guessing with Borg as first team coach there wont be a 3-5-2 formation it would be straight back 4!

 

Ps..I also cant see alot of first team squad members going but i wouldn't rule against a bit clear out of the reserves!

I Think George Borg took over in April till the end of the season because of the position Boreham where in! But they still went down and i beleive he decided to leave!

Whats the point of waiting for the official word looks pretty certain to me. Members of the management team have been named so the Loyal Urchin seems to know what he is talking about !!!!!

I think you're right. All other rumours on this forum get quashed within about 5 minutes yet there has been nothing to suggest the above is untrue.

as there has been no official club response to any of these rumours perhaps someone would tell the fans exactly what is happening.

Loyal Urchin is very much in the know, but I am also clever enough to say what is speculation about Peter and Paul.

 

If they do go I would like to say I think they have done a magnificent job at this football club and given the right breaks can go a long long way in the non league game with there excellent managerial styles and training techniques.

 

George is a major negative though his managerial/coaching style will not suit the existing playing/mangement/coaching personnel and I think the spirit and heart of the promoted club we witnessed only a few weeks ago could be ripped away from us which will be unfortunate as I don't believe such a big name in Non-League football like George was needed and certainly not one with his over agressive attitude.

Greats stuff 'Loyal Urchin'...which is of course a contradiction in terms as people that make things up for sensationalist purposes couldn't really be defined as 'Loyal'....

 

However....we digress.....there is nothing in your post that hasn't been either posted on here or printed on the back page of the Recorder......anyway....for the benefit of all....

 

Chris Moore is under contract at HFC for another year and will not be going anywhere...

 

George Borg is I understand Micks choice for 1st team coach....anyone that believes George will ride rough shod over Sir Mick obviously doesn't know him that well..... an announcement will be made on Tuesday and I for one hope that George does come to the Stadium.....a very experienced Premier League Coach...... you are of course entitled to your opinion.......but its Micks that counts....

 

The big defender from Billericay (ollie whatsisname) is Chris Moores old partner.....would be nice to see them back together again at the old Stadium next season...but.....you'll have to wait and see with that one....

 

changes in the management line up.....well... I have no views on that ....nor any information.....if there are to be any they will be for the good of the football club......if there are to be any changes ...Mick will make those changes.... things have to change with the passing of time....

 

as for long ball game....what on earth do you thing we've been playing all year then.....cor blimey mate...wot games were you at then.....players that can play football can play any type of game...surely thats the point.....why not wait and see what happens instead of being negative......if players do leave and new players come in....whats different about that....it happens at every football club in every country in the world.....

Whats happening ?? The Non-League website says George Borg has been confirmed as manager of Borehamwood for another year. !!!!

 

And on here he is new 1st team coach, doing 2 jobs he must be good, although I assume we offered him a better deal and its the urchins who will get him !!!!!!!!!
