Deserved win for Camberley last night.

We aren't too far off the pace in this league but we had an inadequate 3rd choice keeper and no top scorer and that was the main difference. Skipper was on the bench as well.

Joe Johnson (played really well) rifled home a great goal from the edge of the box following a rare error by Joe Frimpong and Julian Sills exploited Woods lack of height to head home a corner on half time. Bit of a killer goal that but we battled on and had, what I thought, a fine goal chalked off for "offside". That was pivotal as Sills proddedhome following yet another corner that we failed to deal with. We scored a worked well worked goal through Chris Beard and he hit the bar with a delightful 35 yard chip but John Swift broke on the right to slot home as we pressed up. As I said, a deserved win for Cambo who punished our errors and frailties. That's what makes them a good bet for the title IMHO!

Cambo players carried themselves well throughout and in the bar afterwards (other clubs take note) and supporters were nice people too!

Fair play to them!

We did try believe me!
I didn't come away from the game too despondent and I like the way we are playing.
I do believe we have a part to play in where the title is heading!

Not too bad mate, could do with a win or two, the team have been playing well with some great football but getting punished for mistakes.

What about the Lammas, lost to Dorking I see last week but still in the mix.

How's it going at Chelski too mate ?? work good ?

You dont have to wait Teffers.... i'm here.

I will not be biting but will say that with all the derby matches us clubs in this area have to play there's no wonder we've not challenged for a while. We as in my experience with Cove and Ash.

12 out of 42 games are local derbys and as we know......on derby day, usually anyone can pull a result out. As proven so far this season most of the derbys between the teams below have been draws so far.

Cove play each of these twice a season...... all derbys

Camberley
Hartley
Ash United
Badshot lea
Guildford city
Sandhurst Town
