We did look much the better team on the night, they had nothing going forward yet we had Fergie bombing down the right and Dormer co-ordinating. For long spells the game went very flat but management made the substituons (which didn't seem to work to beigin with) but we got the result. Flack looked very lively when he came on and squeezed in the goal, 3 points onwards and upwards!

Agree Keith I think the blow out showed how much passion we supporters had for the club and as such I think the team have been spurred on to meet our lofty expectations.

Hats off to all travelling fans good showing for a mid week game on the south coast.

Great result, we were definately the better side and deserved the win. I think the all the players done well, even when they came on as Subs.

I thought we looked very dangerous going forward with some excellent balls through from adrian and leon and some excellent crosses from ferguson.

Tucker again pulling off some excellent saves. I thought flacky looked sharp, good to see him get a deserved goal.

Well done lads, keep it up!

It certainly was a night for the diehards in a sadly very sparse crowd but our lads looked after the travelling support with fine displays by the vast majority of the team.

We maintained the same system as on Saturday with Dorms playing a narrow left-sided role and I thought it worked well for us again. It'll be interesting to see if we stick to our winning formula in a home game, especially with an abundance of wingers sat on the bench last night - I hope we do.

Horsham passsed it around very prettily in the middle third but when push came to shove they didn't really offer too much where it counts. The only way I could see them scoring was from a set-piece really. I thought our midfield play provided a complete contrast, Fergie ran them ragged down the right, Dorms and Deane looked to play incisive, creative football and Leon played the deeper role well, producing a couple of spectacular cross-field passes of his own.

It really looked as if it was going to be "one of those nights" as the number of near misses, saves, off-side goals and last-ditch tackles and blocks grew, but eventually our reward came. In my view we were comfortably the better side and had we left with only a point we could have felt a little hard done by.

Onwards and upwards we go. Saturday will be another tough game and the loss of Tucker to his ban will be a big blow for us imo. Looking forward to it. Well played lads!!

Come on you Blues!!!

If it's not too premature, can I say a big thank you to the Chairman for keeping a calm head during the 'crisis weekend'. His decision (so far) has proved to be the right one. The Club needs someone like that at the helm and we're very lucky to have him!

excited

Come on you Blues!

I agree Pooch...He kept very cool head while some lost theirs.

Last night...Another win and another clean sheet. I was most impressed on how we started and if we had scored in our opening spell, I think the score line would've been different.

I'm pleased that Flackie got his goal. IMO, of the stikers used, for the time he was on the pitch, he was the sharper and the more dangereous last night...is he getting back to his best? I bloody well hope so.

Well done lads...another enjoyable evening down at Worthing.

I have a theory that if we continue to pull of good results and climb the table then our attendances at home may grow.

I look forward to Saturday!!

Lets drown the 'Stones' with BLUE this weekend come on boys, girls and Hartley!!!!!
