Wednesdays is bad! It takes two to tango!

I think I know what you are suggesting.

Correct me if I am wrong but there have been a number of midweek slots where Aveley have not been playing and neither have Romford or Basildon. So why has the game not happened. The league should insist it is played by a certain date!

It's like the Thameside Trophy. Clubs moan about it but then still enter it. Having entered it they should make every effort to get games played. What happens every year........ weeks and months go by when vacant slots are ignored to play the games then it all becomes a panic at the end and the clubs moan about a fixture pile up.

As you might know, I am involved with Colts cricket. We have a simple rule in that for games that have to be reaarranged. The home club offers the away club three alternate dates that are sensible. If the away club turns them all down the home club has the right to go to the league and claim the game. Not saying this would work in a senior football situation but the way it stands certain teams seem to be allowed to get away with not make any real effort to get games played.

Forgive me for saying so but you seem to be the only one who is moaning. The rest of us just get along with watching our team whenever they are playing!

Oh come on Kilroy..... I heard many people go about competitions like the ETT saying it is a "Mickey Mouse" competition. What I am saying is that why dont teams get on an get games played before fixture pile up takes over.

If you can't commit to the fixture dont enter the competition.
