Who plays at right back v maidstone and staines

Assuming we remain 'trading',who plays in these games at right back ?

It seems Peters is out for at least 2 more weeks.

Corbishley looked pretty well crocked to me on saturday.

I guess after replacing him, Morris is in poll position ,but frankly, i think he is better deployed in midfield,is not a natural full back, and he was caught out a few times on saturday.

who does that leave ?

Harker ?.

Could there even be a call for Hickman to be recalled from his loan-not the world's best full back-but TY said he wanted us to stop being bullied-and he is absolutely right -and Tom would not allow that.Oddly, his constant shouting may just be of assistance-we were quiet on the pitch on saturday- ,so not beyond the wit of man that Hickman gets the vote ?

Any other ideas ?

Funny you mentioning our right back position Michael. I was only thinking about that last night.

When I watched Staines earlier in the season they were exceptional down that left wing.I'm not saying it will be that way against us but from what I saw, that was their main threat on the day.Its something TY should be aware of.

So having said that we should put someone there that is good enough to stamp out that threat. Who? I dunno.

It might be necessary to someone to cover the full back on the day down that side moreso than in any other game.

Well, i'm non the wiser as to who will play at right back v Staines.

We have a new forward who has scored 8 goals in 14 games playing centre half,so maybe Tako will be our new temporary right back.

(joking aside, we do need a centre half and Yorath may just have spotted something in Erksine which makes him very very suitable for that position)

I guess the candidates for right back and their repective odds are something like as follows :

Harker 12/1

Morris 5/2 favourite

Corbishley (on one leg) 33/1

Peters (on one foot) 20/1

O'Hakim 12/1

Hickman 10/1

Terry Yorath 50/1

Dai Yorath 66/1

Gabby Yorath 100/1

Keith Piper(this week he can apparently walk on water) 125/1.

No-one-we play 3-5-2 16/1

A new loan signing 40/1

Any other ideas or candidates ?

According to paper could be a couple more signings for tomorrow's game. Wellsie also says in his notes that Peters could be back but am surprised if he is as was on a crutch 2 weeks ago!

Based on what he said at the time Alan. So long as he didn't put tension onto the stitches, he reckoned he'd be close. Depends how quickly he heals I guess. Personally, I can't wait to see him in a side that has a couple of more experienced players and is playing with a bit more confidence.

I still reckon he has the potential to be our most exciting player. If TY can bring that out of him then he'll either do great for us on the pitch or command a fee.
