Well me and the mrs started off for a day of shopping and footy and then disaster struck. just before Junction 18 of the M4 the clucth goes on my mrs car. AA took just over an hour to get to us and took us to the nearest Services. Fortunetly Windsor Sec saved the day by taken us to the game and back to the services which we then phoned the AA to take us and the car back home so we have just got in at 9pm!!! Big thanks to Windsor Sec he was a life saver. Felt sorry for my mrs though car left in the middle of nowhere, no shopping but she did enjoy the game and said that Windsor did a good job considering the team they were playing.

I personally thought Team Bath were a bit stronger than us and we seemed to play a bit kick and rush which was odd.

There first goal was a header that was suppose to go across the goal which just seemed to glide into the top corner. The second was a rare bit of bad defending by us that led to a very good chhip to the far post that went in. Towards the end we started playing it on the floor and were starting the get at them which eventually produced a scrappy goal from Steve Butler. Overall we were not emabarrased in anyway and should use this experience for the rest of our season where we are doing well in the league.

Team Bath were very organised but not much else to be honest. If they are one of the better sides in the conf south then if we go up next season we could do okay!!

How unlucky were we not to get a late one when it was stopped on the line and then a great save by their keeper!!! If only! We'd of done them at the meadow!!

I was shocked how few Team bath fans were there. We took about half the crowd!! And the other half seemed to be Bath City fans!! However the locals that bothered very freindly and a credit to their club.

Not to mention the league cup, with most of he teams in the Premier probably more interested in promotion/play offs/avoiding relegation we definitely stand half a chance. From what i hear Team Bath were just a bit strong and if we could have got them back to the Meadow on a Tuesday night then who knows. Pretty impressive against a team pushing for promotion 2 divisions above us. But we need to go up this season above all and if we just continue as we are we will definitley be in the mix at the end. Keep it going Scotty you're doing a great job!!!!
