Town 1 - Pots Bar 2

What is it with this Town side. Week by week they change.

Today there was NO Passion, NO Desire, NO Attitude about their play.

Once we scored to make it 1 - 1 I think all Town supporters thought we would go on to win.

Once Pots Bar had a man sent off, even more so.

However, after scoring our goal, Town just stopped playing !

Credit to 10 man Pots Bar, they had all the passion, desire and attitude to Win and in my view were worthy winners.

Overall, a poor show by 90% of Town Players today.

Well done Potters Bar - credit where it is due.

ps - Some rather crazy substitutions by Town Management today, don't you think ??

What was all that about ??

I agree with your points to a degree, although 90% of our players being poor is a bit unfair. I thought the defence did very well till we tinkered with it by moving Reid up to midfield, which I could understand, but his replacement at right back was not as good as him.

P'Bar won the game by having a steadier performing hard working and very able central midfield, we had Dauti galavanting around the pitch but by doing so leaving Hall to cover. Rudi is a good player but laks the athleticism, we were found short there.

Hammond is a great striker to have for the last 20mins but is not a first choicer for me, although, he was very hard working and the only striker available to us. Grant should try running if he ever plays again. Tickner is a clogger, we dont need that type of player in my view. and like you saidothers underperformed or were just ineffective.

He was once Chairman of Brimsdown Sports & Social Club - I'm sure someone else can give his correct title. He came on board for Godalming game as motivational coach whatever that involves? He got us a great result in Godalming too!

Picking upon EU's comments re Gaz Dauti, have no concerns with his work rate and comitment on the pitch but he does leave gaps in the midfield when he is charging about which other players do struggle to close up.

Anyhoo well done to Potters Bar, their 2nd half performance was a lesson to the Town players on hard graft and pulling together as a team.

Okay, So we got it wrong.
We should be blaming GB and NOT the Manager ?
Yes / No ?
Someone must surely take responsibility ?
Or
Is it OUR FAULT for expecting far too much ????????????????

Bollox.

Get this mess sorted so we have something to look forward to in 2009-2010 season.
