I of T Gazette-promotion next season

Good to read in above paper that TY and NS talk of promotion next season.

Every chance i reckon that they can achieve exactly that.

The interesting thing that is not quite so clear is promotion from where to where ?

a)Have they in fact accepted relegation this season , and thus are working to promotion from ryman south next season.

b)Do they believe that post a cva ,they can maintain premiership status this season, have championship winning form, and get us in conf south next season-wow !

c)Are we in fact talking of promotion from Kent county league to kent league div 2 next season.

I also believe a very good chance of promotion next season i reckon-but from where exactly.

Personally, they would be my heros if they can keep us in the premiership this season and we'll worry about promtion in a couple of years time.

I wish them well.

Tough one today against hendon.

He was talking of promotion from the Ryman Premier league Michael. Rather strange to tell the guys to think about that rather than concentrate on staying in this division in the first place.Without survival(both on & off the pitch) promotion in this division next season is much much too far ahead to warrant consideration. Nothing wrong with positive thinking but this seems a bit too much to ask for at this stage.I fully understand its Nevs way of trying to instill some confidence into the lads but ignoring our position with or without the 10 points deduction is something that we all should be concentrating on(on field) more than anything else. One step at a time surely, starting with a point or better still 3 today. That would give be a big lift to everyone to start with.

Does'nt actually say that though-just talks of promotion as i read it!!

similarly-not thinking about relegation is different to it not occuring.

Would make great politicians !

Yes-i am being slightly and lightheartedly contentious/mischievous ,but i may not be wrong.

If they keep us in the premiership, i am trying to convince my wife that TY and NS can have her babies, but thats not going down to well at the moment

I stand corrected and unreservedly apologise to those and their families for any unecessary suffering and distress caused .

A full transcript of this apology will appear in very small writing in next wednesdays daily mail

You can understand MM's confusion, since TY's appointment as temporary Manager we have hardly shown form to suggest that (this season) we would stave off relegation with or without a 10 point deduction.

However, if you 'read between the lines' is this statement an indiction that Terry and Nev are going to dig in to their own pockets to avoid said 10 point deduction?

Because that's the only way I can see us avoiding relegation this season.
