I just wanted to say i agree with the moderators why dont people just state their opinions and not resort to plonker name calling.

I think RWG does have some good points and his always make for a thoughtful discussion, i think he is a real brick.

And it should be remembered that much of what Wiz(RWG) was saying a month ago was being looked on in a different light recently ! It may appear controversial , painful truths usually are to the die hards that on occasion cant see the wood for the trees ! Its hard to hear stuff about your team that you just dont like but sometimes its right ! Anyway i really thought everyone had risen above the name calling ? if we dont like the content of a post surely we can say so with getting personal about the poster ? It becomes a vicious circle because then that person will feel obliged to be personal back and that really got silly at its peak with too many of us guilty ! I sincerely believe Wiz passionately wants our club to succeed , as i do also , some just do patience better than others but we all want the same result at the end of the day ! :-)

Bobby, I think that the major problem with what Wiz posts is the failure to back anything up.

 

Anyone can see a result and draw conclusions that the team is not good enough if they keep losing enough games.

 

What Wiz has not done is answer a few simple questions to back up that he was at games. Yes the questions that people are asking, i.e. what's behind the goal at Gosport and how many yellow cards in th match, are sometimes a bit tedious, but maybe if he took the few seconds to answer them then people might actuall start to think that Wiz OS following Slough and maybe worth listening to.

I see your point mal316 , i personally think Wiz is at the games but i cant say for sure as like everyone else i dont know who he is , just an inkling ! I dont understand why he doesnt answer the questions but i did feel it was a little bit demeaning and that he may find it trivial ? I am sure a lot of his comments are born of frustration with our situation and i understand that ! some have had the patience of saints but we are not all made that way , opinions are only one persons own thoughts when alls said and done but i feel sometimes Wiz touches a nerve with some that would rather paper over the cracks ? Perhaps some of the replies he gets reflect that ? Well there you go thats only my personal thoughts on it , only one guy can really say for sure , so i will sign off and say ....... over to you Wiz ! :-)

Not that this should be a witch-hunt, but Wiz is a supporter and does attend games - just ask Windsor Rebel. It's just the sarcasm and arrogance in his posts that rubs people the wrong way. A lot of what he says is relevant and accurate.

It doesn't matter who I am, all my comments regarding the team and management have been acurate in abundance.It would appear roger rebel and a few others are somehow threatened by the fact that so far I have called it right-its not my fault the manager chooses to implement some of my suggestions and then is proven right.But again I question his/their ability at this level to manage a succesful team.

Some punters keep saying as long as we are not relegated its a good season-look at the league today-3 points off the bottom three and played 2 more games-that is not very impressive in any shape or form is it? Especially when half the teams we have played so far are poor sides.

Yeah, 2 in 4 games, 1 of which penalty, hardly prolific is it.

A bit of a mean comment, Malc! Prolific no, but it is still a better goals to games ratio than all except two Windsor players....and is more goals in his four games than all except five Windsor players have got in 15 to 16 games..... which shows that you can prove anything by picking your stats carefully. However, those two goals, meagre though you think they were, proved very valuable after the run Burnham have just had....and he has been MOM twice, so it isn't just goals that count.

How many games has he played this season and how many goals has he scored?

 

You say he has more goals in four games than all except five of Windsors, that may be correct but we are not expecting every player to bang 20-30 goals a season.

 

Basically, Wiz has come on here and to try and make out that Sweetman made another mistake in letting Harris go because he is scoring loads of goals at Burnham. Well, he isn't, smple as.

 

You were right about one thing though, it isn't all about goals, and he may well have put in a couple of good performances but as I said this isn't about how good he is its about one person trying to make out he is doing something he isn't.

I believe English Literature is more a kin to Shakespeare-Hardy-Keats and Byron.

Let me help you out here-if you were learning say Spanish and some one gave you say a 4 word sentence (probably 4 might be a tad much for you but anyhow)they has written down and ask you to read it-would that be Spanish literature then !
