I'd like to know who these people are too.
KP is willing to step down provided he gets paid what he has put in.Now that may be a fair bit, together with outstanding debts of course but if those people you talk of are serious then they should come forward now & approach KP about this. Maybe something could be worked out amongst them to help keep this club going. If ever we needed their help its NOW!

Who in their right mind would buy a business that was bankrupt and pay a large sum to the people who had made it bankrupt?
Even taking over the level of debts and liabilities the club may or may not have would be a tall order.
But i am sure that if the club did go bust, there would be enough people interested in MFC to re-start the club and put it on a much firmer footing than now.

My recollection of what was said at this week's meeting was that KP would step down/sell up if he felt it was right for the club. I believe that he also said that he would accept the same for his shares as that which he paid for them.

These are my recollections, not minuted facts.

I'm going by a personal call by KP to me two weeks ago Gary where we discussed the situation & what he would accept to step down.

I wasn't at the meeting so I can't comment on what was said there.

If KP has diluted things since then well so be it.He obviously worded it to me it differently on the phone but either way he is willing to appease certain people by offering to pull out at a cost which is & should be both acceptable & fair, bearing in mind what he actually HAS put into the club over the years.

Cheers Cookie.

Just to make it clear as these things can so easily get misconstrued when we can all have different information bases.

I was purely commenting on the sale of shares (plus what was right for the club), not any other debts, loans etc.
