I saw the match report in the Welwyn & Hatfield Times which was surprisingly more in depth than Enfield Gazette's report. The W&H Times report also implied that the Scholars were fortunate to get all three points!

What do you expect from a local rag? Bizarre reports have been much the norm over the years, descriptions of headed goals that were actually volleys etc.

 

So was the quote actually word for word what SM said? maybe lets hope not in this case!

That would be because the owner of that car lives in Enfield! You'd be surprised how many times you can see the same car in the car park at Potters Bar Town too.
