What a difference three days make

Well I don't think many of us saw that coming at Harlow last night!!! I most definetely didn't see Burgridge grabbing a hatrick!!

All round solid performance, I thought Dormer and Deane created a lot of space for themselves and played well in Midfield. Harrison looks a great player and like Gameo knows how to get back and tackle to. Ferguson ran his heart out and played one of his best games for us.

The biggest improvement was in defence where we looked pretty solid with Marron putting in a good shift and actually getting forward at times. Concern re big Duncs injury as he lost very little in the air alongside Heffer.

It was also good to see Broom and Grant with a smile on their faces, they encouraged the team all game long and I think the result and performance (even though not the most important cup) was essential for them.

Much stiffer test this Sat, lets hope the boys perform again.

WE WANT TEN! WE WANT TEN!

The reason why J & G were having a laugh in the second half were because the Harlow supporters behind our bench were taking the mickey out of Jasons's 'deep voice' instructions with their own seal imitations. He found it hilarious!!

And secondly, Fergie was trying to say something as he was bombing up and down the line, but Jason turned to his bench and asked 'did anyone understand what Fergie just said?' because of his scottish accent!

Anyway, cracking result last night and Burbs managed to do a whole 90 minutes, and score three goals, wonders never cease...

One for the stattos amongst our faithful - who scored our last hat trick, and in the first half?

Disappointed that Jack didn't come on as an outfield player, if our other two subs were deemed not fit/suitable to be given a run out!

Looking forward to Boreham Wood on Saturday

not that I'm a statto or anything, but it was Burbs paul, in a capital league game at witham, that hat trick earned him a starting place Vs clacton in which he promptly broke his arm in the first few minuets, then in his first start since then he scores another three.

It would have been fun to see jack chasing the ball around as an outfield player, but taking the p$ss perhaps given that we were 5 up at the time.
