Key Period in our season..........................

Enfield United

Recommended Posts

I believe we have 2 phases of fixtures to hurdle to give our season the excitement we want and the goals we had in mind, i.e promotion.

The next 3 games are v's P'Bar, Ilford and Thamesmead, followed by Northwood, Maldon, Cheshunt and Wingate.

There are points to be had amongst that lot and to be fair we have every chance of winning all of them, although our opponents will have something to say about that i'm sure.

The only concern is the absence of Ellis, therefore, Hahn, Hammond and hughes will have to put in the extra yard to make up for Remy's vacancy (next couple of weeks) and lets hope the tightening in defence continues or else it wont work out as we want it too.

I think a target of 15pts out of that lot is a realistic and healthy total that gives us something bigger to aim for post xmas.

Aside from the mauling Town got at Dartford last season, we always seem to hit good form in December. If the team can hit similar form this December we should start to make steady progress up the table.

BTW: The latest fixture poster for the forthcoming games is ready. If anyone wants a copy sending via email please send a PM and I'll add you to the email list.

Not so,
I believe Ozie was passed fit on the 7th October after seeing a specialist and has been playing for Wivenhoe since then.

Perhaps he is an option while Ellis is injured, but what about Harbingi Grant ?

Well its 15pts from 18pts now useing your theory, I believe we should get 6 points from Ilford & Thamesmead, if we dont we are in trouble, the other four games we will have to word hard to get points, I believe we will get a maximum of 4 points from them giving us 10pts from 21 & thats not good enough, here's hopeing im proved wrong but 8 defeats from 16 league games is certainly not good enough for this club.
