Dobbo Was Weighed In At 25st After Tonight's Match

Recommended Posts

...apparently he'd forgotten to take Mario Noto out of his pocket!

Great win tonight, four more goals and a clean sheet, can't ask for much more than that. Gabs seems to have found his form again over the last few games, and has been a MOTM contender in the last 3 matches. Also, another very good performance from Stuart Ainsley, he's been an excellent signing in my opinion. Finally, I reckon Tarkan Mustafa is one of the best players I've seen in the Canvey shirt, the fella is consistently turning out brilliant performances.

1st time I saw Noto was in the bar afterward's!! Great result against a very physical side, and again although the referee wasn't too bad, he seemed to allow them the physical stuff but we got penalised for virtually every tough challenge! Still, another 4 goals, 3 more points and a good all round performance.

Was Mario Noto playing ? smile

We wasn't a full strength last night with Leon Gordon missing but we still turned in a very strong performance..

Have to agree with you Glenn with regards to Tarks, he has been outstanding so far this year, great signing by the Boss..

Very dissapointed with the attendance but to be fair there was a shed load of games in the area last night. People who are not coming to the games so much are missing out on some great performances! At

Thought we controlled that game last night from start to finish. I missed stuart ainsley's goal but heard it was good. Gab took his goal well and i thought it was very difficult to pick a MOTM. A shame crow didn't get a hat-trick anyone know if he has got one before?

The attendence was very poor last night and we need to get this up for future games.

Superb performance last night, one of our best of the season.

Ainsley has been a brilliant signing. Had another great game topped off by a fine goal.

Good to see Gab back on form and looked good playing at right wing.

Have to give a mention to Jon Edwards who came in and did an excellent job. Rarely gave the ball away and always looked inventive when he had the ball.

Boreham Wood never really threatened us and that was thanks to a solid defensive performance. Both Tarks and Rich Halle were excellent but credit must go to Ricky for making a great save at a crucial time just before the break.

It was good to keep a clean sheet as well and also keep our concentration. At times recently in the games against Hastings and Carshalton, we've got a bit sloppy but there was no sign of that last night.

Hopefully more of the same on Saturday.
