Bookham 0-1 Epsom & Ewell

Evenly contested game, supersub Leon White turned the game in Es favour coming on after 72 minutes. Within 30 seconds it was 0-1, White causing chaos in the box and the ball ended up in the net. Not sure if he got the final touch or not. Bookham should have equalised a couple of minutes later not sure quite how it stayed out and also made Borg pull off a great save shortly after. Bookham pressed for much of the remainder but after 52 minutes of the second half (!) the ref finally decided he'd had enough.

Egham Town 2-2 Bedfont Green

Green could have been 3-0 down in the first 25 minutes but for some great saves. 1-1 at half time, Green going 2-1 up with Town hitting back through a mistake at the back. Last 25 minutes of the match should have seen Green win comfortably, 2 off the line, crossbar struck and a missed penalty.

After this result not sure if I'm posting in the right thread frown

Camberley Town 2 North Greenford United 1

Camberley fielded a squad side in the El Records Challenge Cup and did just enough against a good North Greenford side. Julian Sills gave Camberley a first half lead which Tom McGarry extended in the second half. North Greenford hit back with 5 minutes left on the clock through Andre DeLisser but Camberley held out to qualify for the next round

Disapointed Bookham did not get a point out of the game, thought we deserved it after going a goal down eventually given to Dale Marvell but I had to check with Epsom as to who they thought got it !!! And nice to get credit from the oppo too who thought a draw would have been a fait result.

Fairly even up until the Epsom goal with Epsom may be having the slightly better chances, but after the goal Bookham pressed and pressed but just could not find the net and for a couple of good save and a worldy from Borg the visitors took the points, very pleased with the performance after Saturday's display and hope to carry that on to Saturday with another easy game against Bedfont Green bigshock followed by Carshalton Athletic in the Couny cup eek
