Please note that tomorrow's (Tuesday 18th november) Isthmian League Cup tie at home to Potters Bar Town is still scheduled to go ahead as planned.

However, the match is dependent on us resolving a problem with one of our floodlights pylons.

The lighting contractor is confident that the problem can be resolved in time for tomorrow's night game, but please check for confirmation on this website or on the clubline before setting off for the game.

 

 

So if the match doesn't go ahead will they be fined?

We were there Saturday and the lights were shocking, far worse than ealrier in the season when I went to watch them play Chatham One whole tower block was out, and the tower next to it had lights out. The game was completed but thestand side nearest the main gate was almost in total darkness. We couldn't see from oneend of the pitch to the other, and their Chairman announced a substitution near the end as Sorry but its too dark to tell who has gone off and coming on. BTFC are claiming it as a one off, but there bad on a good day ...hopefully the ref will report it, as it is taking money off supporters under false pretencies. On the plus side we actually lost the game 5-3 but don't tell anyone cos nobody see them score 3 times in the last 10 mins cos of the light !!!
