Support Our Chairman Please

I didn't make the Ashford game (probably as well) but was disturbed by very negative reports, particularly harsh comments of management. Don't forget that the players have a big part in this and have clearly let all down.

I was at a social function at New Lodge Saturday evening ( an excellent charity fund raising event) which also helped the Billericay bar.

I saw Steve when he returned from the game, very disappointed but he spent an hour or so working hard with Sharon sorting out the players kit, putting it in the washer etc etc. There cannot be many club chairman who work so hard as ours so that's have a bit of respect please.

Also the 2 Micks and other bar staff worked hard all evening behind the bar looking after the function, and earning bar takings for the club.

THAT is why Billericay is such a good club so please although we all get really frustrated by poor performances lets not forget that without Steve we probably wouldn't even have a team to moan about!!!

We aren't forgetting the chairman at all. And your right without him, there would be no club.

The work he puts into the club and everything he puts into the club is appreciated by all of us. I think everyone knows that he spends a lot of his own time for BTFC.

Good Blog by TC, I thought. A bit of a reality check for every one calling for heads, but also a couple of important messages:-

I think Steve has done a fantastic job for this club and lets not forget about Sharon also. I am 100% behind him cause he clearly knows what he is doing and our club has come a long way off the field and for that we all owe him a great deal.

I do take offence at Ricks comments re a baying mob. We are fans that travel week in week out supporting our club and have a right to voice our opinions. We are not a baying mob, we care about our club and see the team just teetering on the relegation zone that is why we want action, with or without Jason & Grant. As for us all running football clubs, not all of us have deep pockets to support a football club!

I am fully behind the chairman and so are all the fans i talk to, he and his wife work tirelessly for the club, just a shame the players don't work as hard!

It was not my intention to offend, Patriot. But I'm sure all baying mobs are convinced of there own righteousness. You are, of course, entitled to air your opinions, as am I.
