Just 6 wins all season

We've conceeded 21 goals in the last 7 games at 3 goals per game (2 goals per game over the season as a whole)

Back to back 5 goal maulings away from home

1 solitary away win all season

Early exit's in both FA Cup and Trophy (Humiliated at Concord)

Home attendances plummeting

Meagre away support

16th in the table

I hope the management are planning on doing the lottery this week.

I don't think anyone needs reminding what a dire season it's been so far.

It's always far easier to describe problems than it is to come up with solutions.

I would suggest a solution.

Players playing where they actually play, for example Duncan not at right back, maybe Marron could go back there.

Strip Dormer of his captaincy due to his outburst, if he wants it back he can apologise first. Install Deane as captain, not Hunter though! Oh and two strikers up front, we may then score first.

it would have been nice to have kept paul smith( would make a great captain or even manager!)a friend of mine knows him and said hat the club did not give him a penny for playing and told him to givr it a month and they would make a decision.Thought he done well when he played in the margate game.

Did you reply to BlueGate Alans question on the Margate forum, Worzal (I see that's where you normally post)? The one where he asked if you were related to Paul Smith laugh

On behalf of Jason and myself I would like to apologise for the dissapointment our performance on saturday caused our fans and also on behalf of the players concerned who would also like to apologise for their outbursts after the game. We know we are very fortunate to have the best supporters in our league and as I have always said they pay their money they are entitled to voice an opinion. Sometimes people say things in the heat of the moment however we do not condone our players reactions and pass on their apologies. I do not believe for one minute our players never tried but the performance was way below what our fans should expect.

Its no secret that other than our injury list our biggest problems have been in defence. We have to work within our budget but unfortunately due to injuries over a third of it has not been playing, never the less we have tried to address the problem by bringing in Lynval Duncan, Tony Tucker and Richard Ketchell.

With Regards to the team selection we selected what we thought was a big strong back four. Having watched them albeit in a capital League we thought it had a competent look about it

As it turned out our defensive display was way below what is expected. With regard to the substitution of Adrian Deane, under normal cicumstances when a player gets sent off you regroup and make changes accordiingly however in the event of a goalkeeper your not afforded the luxury of time and in the heat of the moment we made mistake.

Team Selection is never going to satisfy everyone as with this wonderful game we pay our money and we all become managers, but

we select what we consider to be the best available team.

At the beginning of the season we

targeted players to sign to enhanace this squad and I think the general opinion was that we have as good a team as anyone in this division unfortunately thats on paper and as we know we dont play on paper. I can only imagine how disappointing it is for the fans as I know what it feels like for Jason and I especially after the hard work thats been put in not to get the results we all want. The bottom line is the resposibilty lies with the management and all I will say is while Jason And myself are here we will endeavour to put this club back where it belongs. I hope this has addressed some of your points but whilst I dont normally like to go on forums we are always happy to discuss your concerns at the games or at training

thanking Norbert for use of forum, Grant

Thanks Jason & Grant for posting your thoughts on Saturdays game on the forum. It's good to have a balanced view of events and your input is welcomed. Some of the postings on here can't have made easy reading for you or the team during the difficult times.

I myself was quite surprised that I didn't wake up on Sunday morning to an announcement confirming that the management team had resigned and some of our best players had requested a transfer out of the club! As you've said the fans are not the only ones who care. The Chairman, players and the management team sacrifice a lot and put in many hours of hard work (alongside their full time jobs) and are just as disappointed, if not more so, when things don't go well. It must be bad enough when that effort isn't rewarded by a result on the pitch, but when it is compounded by a fans backlash it must be soul destroying.

Anyway, what's done is done and can't be changed. We can only look forward now and avoid making the same mistakes again, starting tomorrow night in Harlow. I for one will be there supporting the WHOLE team and I'm sure many others will join me.

Come on you Blues!

I think fair play to Grant for having the balls to come on the forum to answer the criticism and acknowledge that mistakes have been made. It is good to hear that both he and the players regret their performance and the verbals and appreciate that we the fans do support the team through thick and thin.

I do though feel that regardless of this action fundamental errors have been made all season and were crystal clear to everyone on Sat both in team selection and substitutions. The fact that the management admit their mistakes in team selection and 'during the heat of the moment' doesn't make it all alright.

Once again big pat on the back for Grant putting his head above the parapet as not many people would do so in his postion, but I would be lying if I said that I was confident that he and Jason could pull us out of this mess. I honestly hope they do turn things around, as it must be awful being the centre of so much negativity and they aren't inentionally putting out a bad team but even after the above post I will remain sceptical.

I would put clarey as captain as he is the only 1 i can hear when he is on the pitch and trying to drive the team on.

i would strip dormer of captaincy and fine him 2 weeks wages for his comments to the fans.

It is good that the managers have posted on the forum and now i no you read it. why would you take off deane and leave dormer and hunter on the pitch?

Then you say you thought you had a big strong back four but you have your strongest dfender on the bench.

I no everyone is a manager when they want to be and it is different when its the real thing but if we has fans can see the good bad and where its going wrong surely they can?

Patriot, the admission of a mistake is acknowledgment that its not alright

I notice that previews too yesterday Patriot, you had made just two posts in five years, and your initial posting was to comment on the poor behavior of our fans during a game at Kings Lynn.

I don't condone players arguing with fans, but sometimes in the heat of the moment things are said, and if those comments are provocative enough then its enevitable that a reply will be made.

If Jamie's reply was so bad, then I guess we all agree that some of the comment's coming from the terraces, onto the field, are far to xrated to mention at all.

Tomorrow is another day and I will be at Harlow giving my full support to the team Regardless.

All this negativity is unhealthy, so lets lighten up

Why is everyone picking out dorms as a target? He wasnt the only person on the pitch who reacted to comments from the supporters.

I wouldn't even put clarey as captain, dorms is the leader/captain of the squad, you cant strip him of anything, he has been the captain of this squad for a long time, and he has only made 1 outburst, from what i can remember, which was on saturday.

A lot of things were said on saturday, and probably everyone regrets them. The supporters didnt make anything better after the game, they just made it worse with their outbursts. It doesn't give the players the right to argue with the supporters, likewise it doesnt give the supporters any right to argue with players, either keep bad comments to yourself, or to your friends, but don't rip apart the supporters relationships with the players just because we had the worst game of the season. Every team has a abd game at least once in a season, we just have to bounce back from this.
