At about 12noon today, I slowed down just outside Hullbridge's ground to let a young lad and his dad cross the road to get to their car.

 

The young lad was still dressed in football kit, dripping wet and must have been playing in a game on one of the outside pitched at the Hullbridge complex.

 

After what Coachie has been ranting on about this week, you though he would have put the showers on for the kids and given them some minestrone soup!

You know what Boroman? The changing rooms and showers are there in abundance but from u'14s downwards they don't use them!!Amateurs or can we say soap dodgers?

I know what you mean. When my lad goes away on a School trip or with Air Cadets, there is very little evidance that he has come into contact with water let alone soap!
